There are beings that have come to earth for us. Their simple presence awakens in the soul the deepest feelings of happiness, peace and love. They bring to light all that is most beautiful in each of us. They show us how to fulfill the greatest desire of our heart. They open the door of spiritual perfection and guide us at every moment.
HE IS PERMANENTLY IN COMMUNION WITH GOD
"The state of enlightenment is described as follows: there is a continuous consciousness of unity between the Supreme Self Atman of being and God. There is no longer any trace of Atman's identification with its shells. Every sense of duality is completely erased. There is a pure, unified consciousness. The man who is firmly established on this level of consciousness is said to be enlightened. A man is liberated precisely in this life when he is fully and permanently established in the state of enlightenment. His bliss is endless. Even if his mind is dissolved in God, he is totally conscious, free from ignorance. He is completely polished, and is free from any desire. It is said that such a man is freed in this very life. For him, the sufferings of this world are over. Despite possessing a finite body, he remains united to the Infinite. His heart knows no agitation. It is said that such a man is released in this life. Although he lives in a body, the latter is rather a shadow that follows him. He is no longer influenced by the thought of "I" and "Mine". These are the characteristics of a man who is freed precisely in this life. He is no longer tied to the past. He is no longer chained to the future. He is detached from the present. This is how you can recognize the man who is freed precisely in this life. In the world, good and evil seem to exist everywhere. Men and objects seem to be distinct. Nevertheless, he looks at everything from the point of view of equality and unity, because he sees the Supreme God in everything. This is how you can recognize the freed man right in this life. For him a good or bad destiny can come. He looks at both with detachment and inner calm, and is not touched by it. This is how you can recognize the man freed precisely in this life. Because his mind is continually dissolved in the bliss of God, he looks at the inner and outer world equally. This is how you can recognize the man freed precisely in this life. Life flows: he looks at her as a detached witness. He is not identified with the body, with the sensory organs, etc. He has gone beyond the idea of duty and obligation. This is how you can recognize the man who freed himself in this life. With the help of the living words of the scriptures, he achieved union with God. He is no longer forced to be reborn. This is how you can recognize the man who is freed in this life. He never identifies with his body or with the sensory organs. He no longer has any feeling of possessiveness. This is how you can recognize the man who is freed precisely in this life. Through his transcendental lucidity he has realized that God is everything. This is how you can recognize the man who is liberated precisely in this life. Holy men can glorify him, bad men can insult him - his feelings towards them are the same. This is how you can recognize the man who is released in this very life. Rivers flow into the ocean, yet the ocean does not shake itself for this reason. The sensory objects flow into his mind, yet he feels no reaction, because he has the consciousness of the Unique Reality. He is truly liberated in this very life. "
(From Viveka Chudamani of Shankaracharya)
The notion of jivanmukti means spiritual liberated, being extremely spiritually evolved that, despite having reached the pinnacle of perfection, continues to live in the physical body, continually maintaining its consciousness identified with its eternal Atman Self.
He is completely freed from the chains of ignorance.
He is the only one who has the right to say that in this universe everything is perfect.
"Although good and evil are both conditioned manifestations of the spirit, evil is still its outer shell, while good is much closer to the real man, to the Self. Man cannot reach the Self if he does not first renounce the shell of his evil actions, and then to the shell of his good actions. So ultimately, the karma that still remains attached to the body and mind will always be positive karma, because until all its impurities have been burned, it is impossible for man to reach the Supreme Truth. We can recognize the one who is freed in life from his good deeds; his lips can only say blessings, his hands can only do good deeds, his mind can only think of sublime things, his presence is a blessing, wherever he is. Such a man has the gift, through his simple presence, of turning even sinners into saints. This is the immense difference between the two poles, between true spiritual realization and the simple pretense of having achieved it... Because of a misunderstanding, men fear that if they reach the highest realization, the wells of love will dry in their hearts, and everything they love in this life will disappear. They never think that the great prophets of this world have been only those who have given up any trace of individuality, and who do not really love when you attach yourself to an insignificant object or a mortal being. The true object of love cannot be a handful of earth, but only a Living God. Through spiritual realization, the wife will love her husband more, if she recognizes in him the presence of God. The husband will love his wife so much more, to the extent that he will recognize God in her. And the mother will love her children more if she recognizes God in them. Even the most terrible enemy can be loved when you recognize God in him... Only such a man has the right to claim that everything is perfect in this universe. This is the great good that spiritual perfection can bring to this world: if the whole of humanity achieved at least one small aspect of truth, then the earth itself would become a paradise, and its inhabitants would no longer be men, but gods.
