The existence of angels has always been an important topic of philosophical and religious writings. These spiritual beings are seen as intermediaries between God and human beings. Biologist Rupert Sheldrake admits their existence in his book entitled The Physics of Angels.

Nevertheless, the angels awaken the interest of anyone, indifferent to religious belief, race or nationality, which authorizes us to say that they existed before the appearance of any religion. Many parents talk about their children who believe in the existence of angels, without anyone having told them about these entities.

The angels in the history of humanity

The belief in the existence of angels and their study have existed since ancient times. In a contemporary story about the encounter with an angel, a woman seriously injured in a car accident told how she had been encouraged by an angel in the likeness of a man surrounded by a pink brilliance. Angelic hierarchies

Legends and folk tales about angels who intervene in the lives of mortals have always existed. Some of the most remarkable authors who have written about angels are: Emanuel Swedenborg, John Milton, St. Thomas Aquinas and Dionysius the Aeropagite. The latter was a theologian of the Middle East, who lived in the 6th century AD He examined the ancient biblical scriptures, and it is he who first spoke of the celestial hierarchies of the nine angelic choirs, grouping them into three groups or triads.

The upper triad is formed by Serafini (angels of the Love of God), Cherubini (angels of harmony and divine order) e Thrones (angelic entities that govern the planets and the universal cycles; they manifest Justice, the Truth and the Force of God). These are, together, the angels "advisers" and inspirers of divine wisdom. The Angels, and sometimes also the Archangels, seem to be spiritual entities that act as guides during the experiences they have in the vicinity, according to what those who have had similar experiences tell.

Biblical testimonies

In the Old Testament, angels act as divine guides and messengers.

In Genesis, 24: 7, Abraham says to his servant: "The Lord, God of heaven and earth, who took me from my father's house and my hometown, who spoke to me and swore to me:" To your descendants I will give this country ", he himself will send His Angel before you, that you may take a wife there for my son."

The resurrection of Jesus is assisted by two angels. Mary, who was next to the tomb and wept, "and saw two angels in white robes, sitting one on the side of the head and the other of the feet, where Jesus' body had been placed. (The Gospel of John, 20:12).

In the sacred scripture of Islam, the Koran, an angel with human features, went to Muhammad and gave him advice to strengthen his faith. Muslims also believe that the Prophet was "transported" overnight from Mecca to Jerusalem by the Archangel Gabriel, his spiritual guide.

In the Bible, however, there are also cases of angels of divine vengeance punishing the perverse, greedy for power, as was King Herod: "But suddenly an angel of the Lord struck him, for not having given glory to God." (Acts, 12:23)

Many of the actions of the angels, as they appear in the sacred texts of the different religions, cannot be explained rationally and seem miraculous. He confers the essential and definitive healing of evil of all sorts, in other words, it is the return to the divine source. Raffaele intervenes to save our body, our mind and our heart, he alleviates our suffering. He guides our steps towards authentic therapists who can really do something for us. And when we actually take our healing, he encourages the potential healer in us, intuitively knows what is best for our health and vitality.

The Archangel Raphael is responsible for the healing of the Earth and its inhabitants. He is the one who watched over Abraham's healing after his circumcision, and it was always he who entrusted Moses with the herbarium that allowed him to cure all diseases. Love is enough to get healing. When two or more hearts unite in the same desire, God acts more and can only fulfill that desire. Love is much stronger than fear, but it is more difficult to generate than any atom of our being. Sometimes men even fear love. When we desire something, we must be convinced that this thing has already been realized, relate to it as if it had already been accomplished. This denotes total trust in the choice we have made, in personal transformation, so nothing can stop the fulfillment of desire. If we show constant trust and love, everything becomes possible, provided we have the necessary discernment in selecting our desires and our needs.

In our search full of hope and desire for healing, even so, with our wounded minds and hearts, we approach Raphael's luminous wings and can access the divine goodness. His protector arm is always present to protect everything in us that is natural and pure. In all religions, Gabriel is considered the most important divine messenger. The most important gift that Gabriel offers us is to help us become stronger and make us more aware of the fact that we all contribute to awakening humanity to spirituality, manifesting ourselves as we really are. He helps us to discover the truth in situations where there is a conflict between what we know to be correct and what is represented as truth. It helps us to discover what is real in every situation in which it is necessary to appeal to our intuition. Gabriel illuminates the way for the truth that is in our hearts, and helps us to find out what is the path that is best suited to us, which we must follow.

The Archangel Gabriel is the announcer of the divine mysteries. In the Hebrew language, Gabriel means: "God is my strength" . He is the angel of the Good News, of the Resurrection, of compassion, of divine punishment, of divine revelation and of death. He is also considered the governor of Paradise. He is often mentioned in the Bible, and each time as a messenger who brings important news.

It is present in the visions of Daniel concerning the return of the Jews from captivity, to which the future of the people has also revealed. It was always he who announced to Zechariah the birth of St. John the Baptist, and to Joachino and Anna the birth of the Virgin Mary. He is the announcer of the coming of the Messiah to Earth. Gabriel announced to the Virgin Mary that he would give birth to Jesus and appeared to Joseph in a dream to clarify the situation.

The Archangel Gabriel supports man's ability to discover the beauty that is within him and to fully feel joy in all aspects of life. He accompanies us on our way to the Light and rewards us with his gifts whenever, with aspiration, effort and perseverance, we go up one step further on the evolutionary ladder.

Here are two spectacular interventions by the Archangel Gabriel in the life of some beings full of purity and aspiration. Fra 'Giacomo da Corona was a novice when he proposed to recite, before each meal, a very beautiful prayer addressed to the Virgin Mary. One day, before entering the mess hall, he suddenly realized that he had not said the prayer. He respectfully asked his guardian father for permission to retire to the chapel to fulfill his commitment. The superior consented, but the absence of the novice was prolonged excessively, so that he sent another friar to call him. And since not even the latter returned, the father sent a second friar, then a third. Displeased by the fact that none of them returned, the father decided to go personally to unravel the mystery. Once he entered the chapel, he saw all three friars in ecstasy as they contemplated the Archangel Gabriel, who gathered roses and lilies that came from the mouth of the novice who recited the prayer. After making with these flowers a crown tied with a golden thread, the Archangel Gabriel placed it on the statue of the Virgin Mary.

Father Lamy had a special devotion to the angels, and many times enjoyed the presence and support of his guardian angel and of the Archangel Gabriel. As he returned home, walking almost with his eyes closed because the sun's rays blinded and disturbed him, Father Lamy found himself abruptly in front of a cyclist coming towards him at full speed. When there was only one meter to the violent impact, the Archangel Gabriel appeared who lifted the cyclist with the whole bike and then placed it on the side of the road, so that the father could easily continue his journey.
